Hope Phones, a nonprofit organization operating mobile health programs in twenty countries around the world, has started a cell phone recycling program that is helping the group generate funds to continue their humanitarian work. A new study by law firm Pinsent Masons said the adoption of mobile health in the UK is being held back by a low awareness among the public. Before being given a definition of mobile health, the majority (73 percent) of respondents didn't know what it meant. A recent Accenture study found forty-six percent of senior citizens said accessing electronic health records and medical history online or via mobile was most important, while 42 percent were more interested in virtual doctor visits without a co-pay.
