Microsoft's Windows Phone and Google's Android smartphone platforms were in neck-and-neck competition in the most-growth figures in the smartphone operating system market share in France. The new cheaper plastic iPhone 5c smartphone has been quickly accepted by older and less well-off consumers, especially in the U.S. market.
