India tops the charts for mobile advertising, according to Buzz City’s latest quarterly report, serving over 32 billion ads in 2011.  Mobile ads have grown 139 percent, with more than 126 billion ads served in 2011, compared with 52 billion in 2010. Read Original Content

Juniper Research predicts that the number of mobile banking users will reach 530 million by 2013, with the developed markets of North America, Western Europe and the Far East & China having the highest penetration of users in 2016. Read Original Content

Japanese mobile contents firm GNT, Inc. released a new application, Mobion Share.  The application is available for iPhone, Android and Windows, and will soon be available for BlackBerry. American Express announced a partnership with China’s Lianlian Group to allow use of digital wallet Serve.  Lianlian Group operates a network of over 300,000 small business agents across China where customers can top up minutes and more on their mobile phones. Read Original Content

Nokia India and Indiatimes Shopping partnered to launch a new online store, NokiaShop, for delivery of mobile devices directly to the user.  Indiatimes is accessed by over 50 million consumers in India. Read Original Content

A report by the Internet and Mobile Association of India reveals that India’s e-commerce market is growing at an average rate of 70 percent annually and has grown over 500 percent in the past three years alone. Read Original Content

Online shopping in China is up 21 percent, with the number of people using mobile phones to access the Internet up to 356 million in 2011, 70 percent of web users. Read Original Content
